It all began with a DREAM!! Hey,I am Ankana a passionate artist and art facilitator, who always believe that clothing could be more than a fabric stitched together-it could be a powerful expression of identity, strength and empowerment.Growing up,I was drawn to the elegance of timeless textiles, handcrafted patterns and the confidence with which, the woman carry them and wore with pride. It was my vision TO CREATE SOMETHING MEANINGFUL,SO DREAMT OF BUILDING A CLOTHING LINE THAT CELEBRATED BEAUTY WITH INTENTION. In a lazy afternoon two passionate teachers Ankana and Sayani, dared to dream big. Sayani ,my friend, a wordsmith with a love for language, and I both  shared a common vision: to create a clothing brand that would empower women to feel confident, elegant and comfortable.

Their journey began with a leap of faith, as they enrolled in designing and brand- building classes. Late night, early mornings, and endless cups of coffee fueled their determination to learn the A-Z of marketing and design. Ankana and Sayani faced many challenges and moments of self-doubt on their journey. For nearly a year, they poured their hearts into researching and understanding the rich and complex world of fabric patterns. Slowly but surely, their hard work began to pay off. They gathered countless stories from skilled weavers and insights from expert artisans, each one adding inspiration and strength to their dream. With passion and determination, they kept going—believing in themselves and their vision. That dream took shape as Drape Soft—a clothing brand that beautifully blends style, elegance, comfort, and sustainability.
